Richard Scholl

Owner and President

As an owner of SolarGuard, Richard is involved in the day to day operations as well as research and development. Being directly involved with the development of SolarGuard, this plays a critical role in the innovation process. The function of this department is to continually develop new ideas, and to set standards to ensure their proper and timely implementation.

Originally from Washington, D.C., Richard grew up in a family owned and operated restaurant business. His Father taught him the fundamentals of having a good work ethic, and to treat people with dignity and respect. He brings those very fundamentals with him to SolarGuard.

Richard is a business management graduate, and over the years has managed restaurants from quick service to fine dining. He was a Regional Director for a large restaurant chain in the Maryland, and Baltimore areas.  Richard went on to Construction Management where he was directly involved in the managing of contractors, and scheduling the build-outs of several new restaurant locations from Virginia Beach to Pittsburg, Pa.  After moving to Florida in 2001, Richard was a Construction Manager with a local builder, and was directly involved with the building of over 100 new homes in the Southwest Florida area.

In 2009 Richard formed Florida Coastline Construction, where he continues to bring that good work ethic and attention to detail that has made them the successful Construction Company that they are today.
